Our speaker Chris Spicer, author of the acclaimed book Life On The Hill, will talk on how we live out our Christian lives based on a his enlightening perspectives on Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 3: 5-10) and application in current times.
Chris is not only an author and minister but a trustee of thelions.org, a charity which sponsors and mentors Christian entrepreneurs persuing initiatives which seek to “build the kingdom”. He has extensive experience of working with Christian communities and learning centres throughout Europe and North America.
We welcome all men whether regular Thirst attenders or not for this great opportunity to spend time with other men focussing on some key issues of Christian living in a relaxed comfortable environment. Learning, sharing, socialising.
The Limes Country Lodge in Earlswood is a lovely venue only 15 mins drive from Dorridge. The event runs from 6pm on Friday 21st to 4.30pm on Saturday 22nd. The price of £160 includes overnight accommodation (single room occupancy) dinner on Friday night, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, 3 or 4 talk and discussion sessions, an afternoon walk and all refreshments in between.
