Inspire

Inspire ( formerly Ladies' Fellowship ) meet regularly on the first and third Monday of most months at 7:30pm.

These meetings, which always begin with prayer, usually consist of speakers on a variety of subjects - some serious, some more frivolous. There are occasional social evenings, visits to theatres and places of interest. In the past we have been invited to Highgrove, visited the House of Commons, Westonbirt, Cambridge and York. We celebrate Christmas with a Carol Service, and in the New Year go out for a celebration lunch.

There is a membership fee of £20 and members also pay £2 whenever they attend a meeting. Visitors who are always welcome pay £3.

We are supportive of each other and of the wider Church. We share some of our activities with our Methodist friends. Fund raising is a small part of what we do, mainly through an annual and well-supported Quiz Evening. Most of our giving goes to a nominated charity for the year but we also give support to other needs, both locally and worldwide.

Do look at our programme of events. You will be sure of a warm welcome if you would like to join us.
