The group meets every Wednesday, from 10 am until 11.30 am during school term time, at St James' Church.
Totstop offers children the opportunity to socialize with their peers, learn to share, and have lots of fun too.
Our activities include a seasonal craft table, books, puzzles, role play corner, kitchen, construction and baby section.
The children have juice and biscuits mid-morning, with hot drinks available for adults, and the group always finishes with singing time.
We encourage people to mingle, chat, and get to know everyone, and we have seen many special friendships made at the group by children and parents.
This is why we ask that those who would like to come to the group should make a regular commitment to sustain the relationships we value so much.
There are definitely no cliques and, even though people move on as their children grow, the unique atmosphere and ethos of the group always stays the same.
Totstop is a great starting point for children who may move on to Noah's Ark play group and Bentley Heath School, and offers valuable continuity in their learning and relationships.
Fees are £1 per session for each carer and child, and an extra 50p is charged for each subsequent sibling from the age of 9 months.
We are a very popular toddler group with limited places available. However, if you are looking for like-minded parents, if you are new to the area, or would like to make new friends, we would be delighted to put your name on our waiting list. Please contact the Parish Office if you would like to register your interest in the group.
