The PTA are hosting a Pampered Chef party and would like to invite you to come along, have some fun, buy some great kitchen kit and help us raise funds for the School.
Kriss, your very own Pampered Chef for the evening, will be demonstrating a range of professional quality kitchen tools and making some goodies for us to try.
The Parish Diary has been restored to stphilipsandstjames.org and can be found here.

It's like the 24 hour prayer vigil but for 7 days and nights, or in our case 14; so to be precise it's 24-14.
It's to help people pray the way they want to - in order to do this we will be arranging a rota where you can book a prayer room slot (1 hour slots) for yourself, in couples or as a group to suit your own personal style.
This is nothing new:
Paul urged the Thessalonians to "Pray Continually"
During the 24/7 Prayer event, we need people to be "On Call" team members. What does this entail? Well, here's a job description:
24-7 Prayer On call team member job description
Why are you needed?
You are vital to the successful and smooth running of the 24-7 prayer room that will be running between 25th Feb to 11 March 2009 at St Phillips church and will be the 1st port of call in any given 12 hour period.
What’s involved?
Racing back to my chalet I was bewildered by how it had happened. I’d nipped into the prayer room for what felt like 10 mins and became lost in my prayer time for over an hour. I was now running late for my tea. For someone who struggles with prayer and loves his food it was all a bit disorientating.
It was agreed at the last PCC meeting to recruit a small number of people to help me with the website and its content. So I am looking for people who would be prepared to join the editorial team of the website and be responsible for deciding what does (and doesn't) get published.
It would be great if we could have a cross section of the parish to ensure all are represented - however, I want to keep this group small so we can focus on what's important to the website and get it done quickly and efficiently!
...however, I need to know you to be able to approve you to post content in our forums. If you've registered on our site and are still not able to log in, please contact me or the Parish Office (01564 775652) so we can confirm your link to our church.
If you register from now on, I will be monitoring the list of users requiring approval and you should be able to post within 24 hrs.
I am sure you will understand why we are doing it this way...
