A high proportion of our usual helpers, who transport almost all of our members to our Friendship Club, are unable to help this Saturday. If you are a member of our church and have any spare time from 2 pm to 2.30 pm and 4 pm to 4.30 pm on Saturday, 13 March, to help us with transport, please ring Jan Burston, whose number is in the Parish Directory, or call the Parish Office. Booking is now open for our Walk Through the Bible Old Testament day on Saturday 17 April 2010, starting at 9.30 am for 9.45 am, and finishing at 5 pm, at St Philip’s Church, Manor Road, Dorridge. Tickets are £15 each, which includes a Seminar Manual and drinks, and you can pick up a booking form from the Parish Office. PCC Sign Up To 10.10

The PCC of St Philip’s and St James’ Church today announced plans to sign up to a green initiative called 10.10.Started by Franny Armstrong, the Director of ‘The Age of Stupid’, 10.10 aims to encourage individuals, the grass roots, and also organisations and corporations, to sign up and reduce their energy use by 10% by the end of 2010.Church members were also encouraged to sign up to 10.10 as individuals, and so help to reduce the energy use of the whole Church family. Read More »
