Building for the Future

I would like to thank everyone who has already contributed or pledged to the Building for the Future project generously and sacrificially so that our current total stands at £2.251M.

I have been humbled and overwhelmed by people's creativity and imagination demonstrated in the way they have offered their gifts, talents and skills to raise the profile of the project and to raise funds for the project in many and various ways.

The end is in sight, we still need to raise £1.354M however I want you to share my encouragement to keep going and to participate with us in this inspiring vision of a new church centre to serve God and the community of Dorridge and Bentley Heath, today and for generations to come.

A little bit about us at St Philip's with St James'

We consider ourselves to be one family worshipping at two centres: St Philip's Church, Manor Road, Dorridge, and St James' Church, in Bentley Heath C of E Primary School.  Our mission statement is: St Philip's Dorridge with St James' Bentley Heath Together, Committed to Growth, Rooted in Jesus and Fruitful in Mission and Service. Our vision is that from 2010 to 2016, each member of our church family will reach another person to become a member of our church family: "Each one reach one".

We have over 200 people attending our wide variety of services each week, with worship styles ranging from lively and contemporary, to more traditional and formal.

Whether you prefer a quiet service with no music, or a more informal style with celebration praise, we are sure you will be able to find a service which is suitable for you.
