Our church aims to love, support and pray for those who carry Christ’s message beyond our parish, and for those in need, as well as being alive to the funding needs of possible emergencies across the world.
“Having been to somewhere like Rwanda, it is incredible to see how much our giving can make a difference to their lives.
“They don’t crave for material things. They are very happy with their lot and love the Lord. However, by us giving them the simple gift of a pair of shoes, a child can go to school and that can have an amazing impact on a child’s life.
“This is why we give 10% of all our donated income to organisations and individuals involved in Christian mission, or to those in need of whatever faith, because we know our support can have a major impact on their work and lives.”
Colin and Sheila Revans, Chair and Secretary, Mission Beyond the Parish Committee
Above all, we want to be a church which is alive to the needs of those outside our immediate family, and be actively aware and involved wherever we can to make a real difference in people’s lives.
