Forward is our evening Youth Service, run entirely by our young people, primarily for our young people in Years 7 and above.
The service is held on the fourth Sunday of the month at St James' Church, starting at 7 pm.
Our young people get involved in everything from preaching, teaching, and prayer ministry, to leading sung worship and playing in the band.
The service is relevant, chilled out, relaxed, fun, challenging, and gives young people a place where they can encounter God for themselves.
We chat and get to know each other and there is an overwhelming sense of God's love being poured out among the congregation.
Between fifty and sixty kids every month wouldn't miss the Forward experience, and we also have some committed adults who come to share our unique style of wit, humour, crazy news, and inspired worship and preaching.
Many young people also attend the Sunday evening Celebration Service which is held every Sunday evening, apart from the fourth Sunday of the month, at 7 pm at St James' church, offering contemporary worship, preaching and prayer ministry.
