Our young people are being bombarded by how the world says they should live!
Lazer offers them another group that is fun, cares passionately about them, and is trying to make the right choices which fit in with what the Bible says.
Lazer is a special place where our young people in years 7 to 9 build strong relationships across the age ranges, help each other deal with the issues they face every day, share openly with each other, and develop deep friendships.
Lazer meets every Sunday morning during the 10 am service (except when it is All-age worship) and is a fun space to receive relevant teaching from the Bible, to get help to make the right choices, and to deepen our relationship with each other and with God.
Our activities and games are always fun, and could involve anything from blind-folded scooter riding and tasting games, wet sponges, and rolled up newspaper balls, to building things to knock down later!
In all our crazy antics, our young people get to know each other very well, chat and share openly the stuff they are finding hard, and they are prepared to encourage and pray for one another.
We meet at St Philip's Church every Sunday, apart from the fourth Sunday of the month, when we meet at St James' Church. Have a look at the home page to see when and where the next Lazer is...
