Local young people, who are often out on the streets in the evening, are invited to hang out with us round a fire outside St Philip’s Church on the fourth Friday of each month.
Over 100 young people normally join us for free burgers and pizzas between 8.30 pm and 10.30 pm, and everyone is welcome.
The event, known in the church as ‘Rev. Out.’, aims to take the love of Jesus out into the community, in an environment where people feel confident enough to ask us questions about the Christian faith.
Those young members of our church who help on the team have to be in Year 11 or above, and we always have a strong force of adults to support the event.
