Our walks are suitable for everyone from adults, parents and children, to grandparents and young people. And don’t forget the dog!
You will be made very welcome and it is a great way to get to know people as you enjoy the country views or town landscapes.
The walks are about 4 miles long, suitable for all ages, and rarely start or end more than 10 miles from Dorridge and Bentley Heath.
There are no number limits - sometimes we have had over 50 people on a walk - and there is often the choice of a pub lunch before the start.
Our walks usually take place from 2 pm until 5 pm on either a Saturday or Sunday afternoon and you don’t have to let us know you are coming in advance.
All you need to do is come to the start of the walk at the appropriate time with comfortable footwear and suitable outdoor clothing, especially during the winter months.
You can find out where our next walk starts from on the events page or in the church newsletter.
We look forward to seeing you!
“I think Parish walks are exciting because it is a time when everyone can meet together. Not only that, but everyone can come and from any age. Dogs are also welcome. The walks are about 4 miles long and we try to avoid stiles. Another thing I like about Parish walks is that there is a break in the middle. You can bring a snack and eat it while you are with your friends or making new ones.
Normally there is a pub that you can come to for a meal before the walk. We all have a yummy lunch, but you can come just for a walk if you want. The October 2009 Parish walk was run by John Bragg who chose a lovely walk from Kenilworth Castle.
Do come along!”
