CAP Money Coaches

We are partnering with Christians Against Poverty (CAP) to offer a three-session course called CAP Money, which teaches good money management and budgeting skills, and gives overall advice on how to control expenditure.

This free course is open to anyone, whether they are Christian or not. Trained CAP Money coaches Jill Curtis, Debbie Stamp, Liz May and Anna Verduyn will be on hand to lead the sessions and offer practical advice.

The course also boasts the feature of providing access to CAP’s debt counselling services for those with acute financial needs. Liz May, CAP Money Coach, says:

“We’re thrilled to be able to run CAP Money in Bentley Heath. With the recent widespread job losses and drop in interest rates, there has never been a more important time for people to learn the principals of excellent budgeting.

“Through the course we aim to bring hope to those in financial difficulty in the local community. While many in the UK are reeling from the growing credit crisis, we are convinced that, through CAP Money, many will be saved from slipping into debt, while picking up excellent financial skills that will stand them in good stead for the rest of their lives.”

If you would like more information about when the next course will be run, or to register for a course, why not telephone the Parish Office on 01564 775652 or email parish.office@stphilipsandstjames.org
